For the first time with the 1.8.3 version I have finished Cliffs of Thoria.Fantastic !!I have much more gold than before ,level 3 mermen,level3 gryphons.Now I want try to beat the scenario in the old version if it is possible!!!

I play on Mac with Wesnoth 1.7.12. I played before with Wesnoth 1.7.11 and in Vale of tears 2 of the3 guards who appeared disappeared later.At the end I succeeded keeping the3 until the end of the scenario but they disappeared from the recall list after. I play on Wesnoth 1.6.5.I have killed the Chief Orc .After I have killed the Lich and even the chief Scorpio in the north east of the map
and nothing happen.
I tried to read the file but I have not found any reason.

I have not found(even in the file) who can take the" sword of chaos" who is in 1,23 on the map.Always the same answer:you are not skilled enough to use it .I tried different soldiers.Impossible !!!!
