Thats not the issue... Ok first, the bat. The idle animation is annoying. On my computer the bat is flapping 3.5 times a second. The idle animations altogether are distracting and flow bad with the game play. I would love an option/control to stop them. Though the new animation is very cool I must agree with the flapping...

I recently got 1.3.15 beta And I think that alot of things have gone it the wrong direction. From when I first found wesnoth at around 1.0 there always was the dead still of fear and war. knowing your next move could be your last. Now it seems full of motion and new animations. Is this what we want ...

It is hard enough to kill leveled up units. If the enemy teams had this it would be very annoying just watching him heal and kill your attempts to weaken him also, part of the lure of leveled up units is you have to take care of them even though they are powerful. I don't think it is a very good goo...

The current menu is very long and crowded I think there should be 3-4 tabs to click on. (Campaigns, eras, map-packs, and other) Often when I'm trying to join an server game someone will tell me that I cant play without X era so I have to quit and franticly try to find whatever era...
