Re: Campaign: Winds of Foerroen

I managed to beat the first scenario, through sheer luck, though the out-of-the-blue appearance of multiple level 3's was not fun. I would suggest you read the scenario-how-to, by the author of The Hammer of Thursagan, which is stickied in this sub-forum.

Re: Campaign: Winds of Foerroen

I am currently playing the first scenario, on easy, because I suck, and I am not sure if you have balanced it for easy yet, but it is reaaaaly unbalanced. First of all, you can't rely on AI allies at all, so you should switch the gold, and give you 500 gold and them 150 or w/e. Second of all, you're...

Re: Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.2.4 - 15 scenarios)

Good! I look forward to playing it! Oh yeah, I just remembered, when I was playing the... fourth scenario, I believe, when you are preventing them from crossing the river, I would suggest making only a few points fordable, and that you have a fogged view of your whole side of the river, so you can't...

Re: Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.2.4 - 15 scenarios)

Well I re-downloaded it, on 1.4, and I just loaded my old save, and it worked, and I finished! Is it going to be just 15 scenarios, or will there be more/a sequel?

Re: Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.2.3 - 15 scenarios)

Also, I just about finished the campaign, but when I finished the 13th scenario, where you fight the orcs and Scarrion with the elves on your side, once I hit end scenario, and error thing pops up and says Unknown Scenario: n_Revenge or something along those lines.

Note: I'm running Wesnoth 1.3.19

Re: Campaign: Bad Moon Rising (0.2.3 - 15 scenarios)

I noticed that you had sundogs, or maybe you didn't, but the sundogs can move over the chasm at only 1 move, which I thought was a little odd. And also, about 13 sundogs suddenly appeared right in the midst of all my guys, which was annoying and disconcerting. Overall though, I love the campaign! Uk...

Re: Stories of Tarlyn v0.0.7: 2 campagins + multiplayer era

Well I finished all the Tarlyn scenarios, and it all looks pretty good! There were a few things that I noticed. First of all, it gives the Irna leader gold if you finish early, so he can recruit more guys in the next scenario, as opposed to having a set rate, which I thought was odd. Also, the secon...

Re: Stories of Tarlyn v0.0.7: 2 campagins + multiplayer era

I just played both of the Irna scenarios, and they seem overall, pretty good, though they definitely need tightening up. On the first one, I would suggest moving the walls a little more north/south, because there isn't much point in going through the side in the forest if both walls are in sight and...

Re: Campaign: Autumn Kingdoms - Prologue

Oh, and I also noticed that all of the units were neutral, there was no lawful or chaotic. You obviously put that in on purpose, but I was wondering what the reason was? I can think of several, I was just wondering why you did it.

Re: Campaign: Autumn Kingdoms - Prologue

Yeah, I was completely off balance, so I only had a few archers in place to slow the horsemen down a little. I wish that there was a way to work in the some of your previous troops, like that they joined you, because I kept every one of my guys alive and they were all at level 3, so it kind of sucke...

Re: Campaign: Autumn Kingdoms - Prologue

I have been playing your campaign, and I really like it! I'm somewhat stuck on the scenario "The Purge of E-somethingorother", because I'm not sure exactly what you're supposed to do. Are you supposed to defeat the enemy generals, or just wait around for something to happen? Note: I'm only...

I attacked the Saurian to the left, simply because my faster guys that could move two hexes in swamp were over there. And it seemed a little bit closer overall, at least to me. I found that the Peasant Mages were really useful, and I really liked the idea of them in it. It would be cool to maybe hav...

Well, I played it all on Easy, and I really liked it! It could use some balancing, and I really messed up on the third scenario because I was thinking I could wipe out the enemy by turn 10, and then his reinforcements popped out of nowhere. Maybe you should put a little schpiel at the beginning with...

Yeah, I did start that campaign, but even on easy, it was a bit hard for me. That was a little while back, but I'm not very good. I got to the scenario where you had to fight the marauders and the other Imperator, but I couldn't beat it, so I just gave up on that campaign.
