Re: Dragon Tournament – Polish edition 2017

I could not make it, sorry. Something unexpected happened and I apologize for taking a slot I could not fill. There was no way of knowing beforehand. Enjoy the rest of the games, all!

Re: Exercises in Formula and Lua AI and AI-demos add-on feed

I remember the beginning of this AI experiment, and how we discussed how to tell the AI to go all in or not. Not was what makes this AI so special. It was a very interesting thought that the AI should kind of try to estimate to "do it" or "leave it" . As the code grew more sophis...

Re: Exercises in Formula and Lua AI and AI-demos add-on feed

oh-ho theres even a better version than this?? :))) ok i played three games on the newest version of wesnoth, one i tried with double gold but lost because i drew my troops a bit too far apart - unfortunately this game was lost somewhere in the aether , the other two were much easier. What ...

Re: Exercises in Formula and Lua AI and AI-demos add-on feed

and just out of curiosity i tried AI vs AI too. it is pretty scary how your version rocks from turn 3 (first contact with enemy) onwards. i wouldnt be surprised at all if the win-loss ratio was 1.0. it took only 10 turns! gj!

Re: Exercises in Formula and Lua AI and AI-demos add-on feed

http://i.imgur.com/tS7JHoz.jpg Figure: crazy solution out of this: kill the troll with low HP by sacrificing two low hp fighters. Today i had an encounter with the AI and im quite pleased. It works as it should and even though small blunders were done this is quite acceptable. Which ones are the bl...

Re: What do you find to be the worst unit in the default era

usually i would hold back for teaching you why a specific unit is better than you think, but in THIS specific case i must absolutely make an exception. Cavs are so extremely good that you can seriously laugh at your opponent with them. and i mean, against basically every faction. if your loyalists, ...

Re: Era of High Sorcery

it is really entertaining. would you agree that mana, action points and such might be better placed in the upper task bar where you usually find village income etc? i kind of lost focus and got wiped out fairly quickly ;)

Re: World Conquest tek

after having played many map 1s on this new addon, i realized today that one thing would make the WC even more interesting: i always get a big motivation loss around T13 when the AI runs out of money. What about turning the last units the AI can recruit to lvl2s for extra excitement? you could desig...

Re: What do you find to be the worst unit in the default era

Finally somebody mentions the good for nothing bowman. It took some time and a ton of insignificant characters first but what we all know just as 'aquabow' trope can be finally dismantled as a joke. He is just not that good is the end of the story. Take lvl2s - whos far up on ur red list? For me its...

Re: Games discussion

Who would have thought you like m&b  what else do you have in stock? Talking generic skyrim: I also find the generic fights infinitely boring and believe they do the opposite of what its inventors imagined. It was the reason together with the amazingly bad quick selection to bury it for...
