Re: Ideas for a UI facelift
Hey guys, It's been a while since I've posted here last. I played a bit recently (really impressed with how far the game has come!) and decided to check the forums - this seemed interesting. I don't know how much progress has happened on this behind the scenes, but the mockup posted a few pages back...

Re: Android port coming soon...
WWoah, awesome! I google "wesnoth android" every now and then, glad something substantial cropped up.
I personally wouldn't mind paying either, wesnoth is well worth it.
Looking forward!

update!
sidhepreview.png /notlateatall I am aware of several issues: * the warmage is huge * the stormlord and tempest can use more work * the thunderblade could stand to be more intimidating * I need to get to the level 3 warrior line. the problem is, they look terrible so I have some trouble updating the...

Re: Sidhe and Imperial Era
Things not to do: put all your WIP's on a usb stick, and then lose the usb stick.
I'll have something soon, sorry for the (enormous) delay.

Re: Sidhe and Imperial Era
hmm, thanks for the tips. I did the bladespinner too, (with some frankensteining involved), and even gave him some darker eyes... comments/critique? http://i31.tinypic.com/orikxl.png *the bladespinner is the one in the middle I'm still not sold on giving them faces, but since consensus demands it......

Re: Sidhe and Imperial Era
woohoo, triple post.
Did some stuff for the herald... I'm not sure I'm too happy, but I think it works fine. Also tried to give him a face - does he look sad?

Re: Race in 1.8
Alright... I hope this works. Should I file a bug now, when it could still be a wml issue? Or should I wait until someone slightly more wml-literate than me has looked at the code?
Also, here we go: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2436858/Imperial_Era.zip

Re: Race in 1.8
Both.
And at least one of the race cfg's is being read, since in the help section everyone is listed as "Lavinian" and the Lavinian description is present.

Race in 1.8
Recently I took to porting Imperial Era to 1.8, with limited success. Peter_the_Great ran wmllint on it, and it was playable. A problem was that apparently some/all of the units didn't have proper race id's. I noticed this when playing, and Gambit related the issue to me in a PM: There are races in ...

Re: What are you reading right now?
Children of Dune right now; I read Dune last summer and Dune Messiah sometime in the winter. I dunno why I read them in such big gaps... currently my order of favorites is Children - Dune - Messiah.

Re: Sidhe and Imperial Era
Quick progress report, I hope I can be forgiven for the double-post: I've been working on the herald, which has been a bit of a problem. It'll be done soon, though. I've actually been using my time to get the current Imperial Era working on the campaign server, as it was in a rather sorry state and ...

Re: TSG, sprites reedition
The blurring used on the glaive doesn't really work, IMO... it looks like a camera is focusing and unfocusing on it. Pixel art should remain sharp, especially since your style is very sharp and clear. But excellent work on the standing animation! Maybe the movement is a little too exaggerated, but I...

Re: Aragwaith sprites updated!
ah... I see. That's too bad. I'm going to try get the Feudal Era (which includes the Aragwaithi) up and running with IE... sadly we hadn't even started getting in the new Aragwaithi graphics (to my knowledge) and I don't know the state of Extended Era. I feel like you this is what you published... t...
