So I decided to play some Wesnoth again, but in punishment for my neglect…
At this point in my first game back, I'm supposed to have dealt more than double the damage I've taken; but I've taken more damage than I've dealt instead.

Re: Many games update endlessly, finally I lost my interest.
It's nice to see the endless updates really flesh out a game sometimes, but yeah, you do loose interest after a while. I'll replay something occasionally for a major content drop, such as Satisfactory, but really I figure it's just a take what you want when you want situation. It's weird. 🤔 For some...

Re: Battle for Wesnoth on Steam
I feel the bit where the camera pans over the pictures is generally well-thought-out, but I think it could use more variation in the panning direction. I don't think identical pans ought to be repeated; it makes it a bit boring. Usually, you get some sort of opposite motion going on, say a pan up an...

Re: Beta testers needed: Endless Sky, a space exploration ga
Thanks, everything works well now. I did discover a UI corner-case, which I suppose I should mention. If you park a ship, then make it your fleet leader, when you depart the planet you immediately pay wages and are re-landed without a word of explanation. In addition, you can't un-park your fleet le...

Re: Beta testers needed: Endless Sky, a space exploration ga
OK, bit more control confusion here --- how do I 'help' a ship in my fleet which has been disabled? I can request a ship in my fleet to help me, but I can't request a ship in my fleet to help another ship in my fleet, and I can't seem to help the ship myself by just going near it. :hmm: Good game so...

Re: Beta testers needed: Endless Sky, a space exploration ga
Using the windows build, when I hold J for jump on the map it cycles between available jump targets - I can't figure out how to actually jump to my target. That kind of put an end to my exploration, unfortunately.

I made Cube Trains, a 3D puzzle game!
snapshot 18.png Download free from cubetrains.com . Cube Trains is a game where you have to figure out how to build train tracks around each other, in some rather tight 3D spaces. It has a bunch of nice features, like infinite undo/redo and make-work reduction, but the big thing is that you don't h...

Very good video, Dunno. Thanks for linking to it, I quite enjoyed it. Not many people can deliver a lecture like that as well as John Cleese does.

Hm, been a while since I played Wesnoth. I'm surprised that Isar's Cross is still rampantly popular.

I'd appreciate this. It's a small thing, perhaps it would be easy to do.
