Pretty much liking the idea, there are several campaigns which could use them, but there might be issues with "blood" - Wesnoth has to remain playable for the young ones, too : might be strange, but bones should be ok, whereas something clearly identifiable as blood is not, as far as I kno...

Personally, I'd say the animation is very fitting, well done and to me it was obvious that she brushed some dust off her dress even on the first image and before I read the text. To sum it up again: I like it!
