There's been no evidence that the drakes can use any form of active magic - one assumes that there is some form of passive magic that allows their bodies to sustain internal flames etc, but we've yet to see any of them do magic aside from that. All their attacks are physical, and all the leaders we...

Not all of the drakes can fly at all, and most of them can only fly short distances. They need some way of gettinig across the sea, otherwise how do they get from the island they're on in tRoW to the mainland? Well. As creatures of fire (easily said) they don´t like ater i think. So what i would t...

The ship images currently in mainline, however, are of that style. I thinkt hat Wesnoth has 1700s level technology (printed books, proper ships, windows accessible to most members of society as opposed to just the higher classes, etc etc etc) but have not discovered gunpowder, or are in a world whe...

TIF - PNG conversion problem

I tried to to some planets for Spacenoth but used a different programm then before. Unluckily it has no PNG export included so i saved the results as TIF with alpha channel and wnated to convert it to PNG with GIMP afterwards. Now GIMP crashes with this TIFFS both with and without compressions and c...

First, IANAL, too. [...] 2.) So am I allowed to use it for my works? Honestly, i think by buying the license to use this 3D models give me the right to use this products to produce 2D works. For reference look at the complete basic license for DAZ models here: http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/faq/0/bpjkghd...

My approach will only work if you're making the sea surface from a height map (a matrix of figures denoting the heights of the mesh nodes). In that case, you can open the height map as an b/w image in a 2-D image manipulation program (GIMP, PS etc.) and apply the filter there. Use the edge-detectio...

Well - I´m hoping, hoping begging. I even have asked Dave already some time ago in regard of Wesnoth:) Sometimes less is more - if something we add is of low quality, then it actually degrades the game, rather than improving it. This is in fact why I joined wesnoth - wesnoth was looking pretty goo...

Personally, i'd prefer this if she pushed her hands out from her chest like she's throwing the magic away fropm her - it looks a bit stilted at present. But again, it has potential. Yes it has potential . The original avi already looks much better and smoother when played with according framerate. ...
