It's funny that you have mentioned the orb - exactly my idea in the old thread. :-D

Re: Option to turn off Auto-movement at start of turn

Oh man! This issue has been around forever. I remember posting on this subject several years ago. The general consensus was: don't use multi-turn movement. Fine - why have a feature that shouldn't be used? I think some people said that it'd be nice to have a button or hotkey for a "complete mul...

Re: SurvivalXtreme: Version 2.02

The main thing about skirmishers is: on Stronghold they are the only ones who can snatch away chests from the central bosses without having to kill them all first. Usually this means at least +160 gp for the whole team which, in turn, can make killing the three more difficult bosses (the mermaid, th...

Re: SurvivalXtreme: Version 2.02

Mihoshi - I still want to see you beating Stronghold on mad mode. Hell - take as many players as you like. Sadly I've been playing with newcomers A LOT and that rarely leads to victory but even with more experienced players it's hard as hell to survive. The only reliable way of beating Stronghold I ...

Re: SurvivalXtreme: Version 2.02

I want to see somebody beating SurvivalXtreme Mad Mode WITHOUT 800 gp starting money (I mean the "old" unmodified SX on SurvivalXtremeStronghold). ;-) If the initial hordes of creeps don't kill you the mobile bosses spawning at the end of turn 21 will because you will be simply too weak to...

Re: New idea for wesnoth

Chile, third world country? C'mon - if anything your country could be labeled as a "second world country" or "developing country". =) You're only 3 places behind Poland in the GDP per capita ranking and I don't think anybody would label Poland as a third world country except in j...

Well - surely there is SOMETHING in Spacenoth that you could recycle for such a sci-fi themed era, isn't there?

Re: Spacenoth

Bah - I only heard about Spacenoth now that it's apparently dead. I agree that splitting from the main Wesnoth community wasn't a very good idea especially since Spacenoth was supposed to be only an add-on for Wesnoth (at least in the beginning). I imagine that there are Sci-Fi fans on these forums ...

And I also can't find any better SVN client than TortoiseSVN for windows.
Well - then why keep looking. I've been using TortoiseCVS when I was working with CVS, not SVN and Tortoise*something* is probably the easiest program to use...

Re: Forum Upgrade

By the way - I made a simple icon for the "mark post as unread" function of the "View unread posts" add-on since the text below the post just doesn't look right and it's a function that will be rarely used at all. The icon looks like this: http://www.gry-planszowe.pl/forum/styles...

Re: Forum Upgrade

Ha, Mist - I'm an administrator on another medium-sized phpBB3 based forum (~2000 users) and as I can see you're slowly installing the same mods as I did - e.g. the "View unread posts" feature. ^^ I can recommend this simple script for RSS syndication: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewto...

Re: State of the multiplayer server

Dave - you said that you're beta-testing the optimized server on tuxfamily? I think you might want to test it on the official server - I mean, Tuxfamily is not getting enough traffic for a proper stress-test and the official server lags SO BADLY, especially now that it is Friday and the Easter Holid...

Yep, the bigger star looks better - if you like this style, that is. =)

By the way - this pony has two more ideas for icons (you have the star covered now). Oh, wait, is that an ORB? ^^

Re: where to put downloaded campaigns / szenarios?

Are these multiplayer maps/scenarios? Study your directory structure. You have your userdata -> data directory with the corresponding sub-directories. Extracting something there while preserving the directory structure should do the trick. By the way - there are many campaigns/scenarios and eras on ...
