Re: LordBob's commissionned work
peanut gallery here, re: Dacyn, when I look at the staff shaft (and it's thickness), I don't expect it to touch the ground that far behind him. Seem like it should be more parallel with his feet.

Re: Orc Portrait Series
The sovereign is one of my favorites you've done... excellent!
Are those two arrow holes in his right breast plate?

Re: Cloud's animations
I like these animations. great work. On this most recent one, the shield arm goes back, leaving the dwarf more exposed to attack. It seems that the shield should move forward with him. I'm not suggesting you fix this, I'm just pointing out that someone trained in fighting wouldn't leave themselves s...

Re: The Dwarvish Treasure - Version 0.5
Apologies for resurrecting this old thread. I just wanted to ask if there has been any consideration in upgrading it to 1.4? This was my favorite add-ons. Besides the map and graphics, I liked how you couldn't really die (well, you could but..) and the way the game unfolded. Nice way to test units h...

Again, I must preface this by saying you are a much better artist than I am, and I couldn't do what you create. Nice job. So please take my impression/opinion for what they're worth... Regarding Thunderer, I like the body much better than the head, and feel that certain tweaks to the head could lead...

minor graphics issues
Creating map transitions seems like a very difficult process, and inevitably some don't work quite as well next to others. I have found these two oddities that I wanted to pass along... someone can decide if they should be looked at more carefully. 1. The first is the dirt to water transition when t...

first, excellent work... this is much better than I could do. A few things catch my eye. * Where his right arm comes out of the chest plate seems very tight... no mobility. * The transition between the helm and the chest plate is too similar, almost as if connected. perhaps it wouldn't go over his s...

I downloaded Beta 5 and got the following message around turn 6 or 7: error general: Error while playing the game: game_error: Unknown unit type 'Satyr' That's very odd. The first Satyr spawns at turn 2. Is it possible that you tried to edit the scenario but are not completely sure what you did? Ma...

Not sure if this is the correct thread to convey issues: I downloaded Beta 5 and got the following message around turn 6 or 7: error engine: unit of type Satyr not found! error general: Error while playing the game: game_error: Unknown unit type 'Satyr' Any chance you could post the necessary file(s...

this also isn't a very accurate way to test balance since we use the same AI for every faction, and all the faction require different stragedies to play. Interesting point. I know there are at least two AI engines out there (I haven't had much luck with the sample AI, but will try it again). In the...

end of game summary
I have been enjoying setting up hotseat multiplayer games then having the computer A.I. duke it out against itself on the various maps I create. It seems like a good way to gage balance of factions and to determine some of the subtleties inherent in various maps (and units). What I would really like...

Fixed, thanks! Glad you are enjoying UTBS. I should have taken notes from the beginning, as there were a few other things along the way (mostly typos in the text, maybe an missing image). Here are a few more: in 6_2_Hunting_Dwarves.. there is a reference to troll2, although no .cfg.. in 7_2_TrollIn...
