You need to install boost development package(s) in order to compile (should be "boost-devel" or something similar).
You might need to install some other dependencies as well, see http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/CompilingWesnoth

Well as the (quite inactive) french translation maintainer i didn't event know we had translated wiki pages. Better fix the thing that is broken: the syntax highlight script rather than expect that everyone "fixes" WML scripts that are correct.
Not every addon maker read this section of the forum, you know...

Not even UMC - the Witness line in the Hammer of Thursagan has leadership a level above the unit level. Yes, the ability already exists and is used by some UMCs.
Btw, it's not by the Chaos faction, but by the Sidhe (Sidhe Spirits).

Notice that using mainline campaign images won't work for everyone since campaigns aren't always installed...

Yes and no... The AI does cheat by knowing about every unit the opponent has (even the hidden ones), but it doesn"t know the position of the hidden ones. Btw it's also quite good at searching the position of the units it did previously see, so it gives that impression it can see through ambush ...

It is however a known bug that has already been fixed recently.
Btw i'm not sure it was fixed in 1.4, for compatibility reasons.
