Help! Wesnoth won't recognize my .cfg file
Right. So, it's my first time trying to create a scenario thingy. Based on the builder's wiki, I created a .cfg file using wordpad and placed it within the ~wesnoth/userdata/data/campaigns directory. When wesnoth failed to recognize it, I tried placing it within the ~wesnoth/userdata/data/campaigns/...

AI question
I had been away from Wesnoth for a while before downloading the newest development version. At present, all AIs but the default do not seem to be acting at all. Moreover, the default seems to play much worse than in versions from the 1.1 or 1.2 branch. Was wondering if anyone might offer some word o...

I've been having many sync problems since then. I'm not exactly code-savy (to say the least) but I -think- it has been resulting from some rounding differences in response to modifiers. It also seems to be worse when dealing with players running different languages (I use English). Edit: Actually, s...

Rather nasty sync error
Just had a rather unpleasant sync error where an enemy entered an occupied village of mine.

Orcish Warlord: 76 HP, 17-3 melee, 7-2 ranged Royal Guard: 70 HP (+ res.), 12-4 melee Elvish Champion: 64 HP, 12-4 melee, 8-4 ranged Draug: 62 HP (+ res.), 13-4 melee Seems fair enough to me for the most part. The problem is: Why would you ever take the Deathblade? One potential solution that *I* c...

I disagree with the your disapproval of the decrease in hp. The Orcish Grunt line already has terrific hp and very good damage for a unit that originally cost 12 gold. I think they should keep their damage for differentiation between races, but the hp I don't think needs to stay. I hope I'm clear n...

As for the Duelist, he is pretty sick anyway. These should probably be put in a different thread however. Interesting. Might I inquire in which manner you think the Duelist is sick? Skirmisher is relatively potent, but then 5-5 for a total melee attack is certainly not anything extremely impressive...

Just to pipe in with other tangents: * decreased HP of the Orcish Warlord from 80 to 72 * decreased melee damage of the Orcish Warlord from 13-4 to 12-4 * decreased cost of the Orcish Warlord from 56 to 48 I can't say what OTHER changes are being made, but I'd have to say I disagree with this one QU...

Figure I'll try my hand at this. Doesn't really mean much, since relative strengths and weaknesses vary greatly depending on map and opposing faction. But as a general rule: 1) Elves- Very versatile, with easy means of obtaining some powerful abilities such as Leadership and the new slow. 2) Loyalis...

You are using version 1.1.1 (which I don't have), the replay must be viewed in version 1.1.0. I downloaded 1.1.1 but it is missing a dll, and I didn't want to illegally download the microsoft dll from a warez site. This also explains your image problems, since the image folders were rearranged in 1...
