Apologies, but judging from the original post by Dave in the thread you linked, this is only remotely linked to what i proposed. Dave's explorations of "interesting" AMLA would be used in conjunction with the proposal i presented in the original post, but the two things are very different.

In my mind, the "AMLA" i'm talking about would need a re-haul. Things like +HP, +dmg, +res, and so on, and maybe also some abilities.

Please forgive me, but I fail to see the point of your message, Troy. I was not attempting to create a thread on said feature, i'm aware this has been discussed elsewhere, i just am not aware of how it was resolved, if it was. That being said, i specifically added, at the end of my message, that i w...

Ok, i see. Too bad this "feature" is still around. As for limiting the number of units in the tree, the fact is, some units are obviously there ONLY to comply with RIPLIB. But even without removing any unit, i still think it could add strategic depth. Is it worth discussing the concept, se...

Suggestion about leveling

This has been floating around on my desktop for some time, so maybe the idea's been proposed in the meanwhile, in which case feel free to shoot it down =) So, quite simply, what i propose would be an option for a unit to use its level-up to gain an AMLA instead of climbing a level. Among other thing...

You realize that Firefox is among the most popular browsers in use, right? And that, in the community you're trying to appeal to (ie, let's face it, geeks for the most part), Firefox or one of its derivatives is probably far ahead of any other browser in terms of use? So, if your webpage doesn't dis...

I'm fairly certain that I can accurately deduce Zookeeper's primary source of contempt for your posts: your apparent incompetence in communicating via the English language. Because it's well-known everyone MUST speak English, even though it is not necessarily their native language, to use internati...

His point was that any unit with 40% def was dead meat when faced with THREE other lvl1 units. It's up to you to use some of the Drakes' advantages (mobility, high HP, whatnot) to make up for the weaknesses (pierce vulnerability, low def, whatnotagain).

You should download the latest version, i'm pretty sure there won't be much help for a problem related to an outdated version. Also, make sure that you install the main package PLUS the campaign package (they are separated packages for Linux, they don't come in the same bundle as they do for Windows).

Seems self-contradicting, or what am i missing?

I didn't really enjoy this campaign when i tried playing it before. It wasn't the latest version, though. The first two scenarios were not really satisfying. I agree with turin on most of the points he made. The jump from peasants to poachers/thugs is a bit weird too, but maybe not much more than al...
