What if when a leader was killed The Crown was dropped and the way to win would be to take the enemie's crown to your throne before it is recovered?

Would it be possible to have a second(or third etc.) player "join in" on the (normally) single player campaign? ie. Have a human player as the main antogonist on "Hier to the Throne".
